Terms and Conditions
A. Course Requirements
1. The Korean Language Course at the Korean School of Amsterdam
is open to all adults, irrespective of nationality, age
(from 16 years old), and fluency in Korean.
2. To obtain a course level certificate,
students must pass the final examination at the end of
each semester and attend at least ⅔ of the total lesson hours.
3. You are expected to do two to three hours
of self-study/homework a week.
4. Students are required to inform the school or the teacher
in advance in case of absence.
In such cases, the student is required to study the content
of the missed lesson at home.
5. Tuition Fee:
€275, (Five months).
6. Study books and workbooks are available for purchase
at the school.
(Online students can purchase textbooks at school
only on certain Saturdays.)

o A3 level Active Korean 2: €45
o B1 level Active Korean 3: €45

B. Application Procedure and Conditions
7. Registration: You can only register via the online link.
Registration is valid for one semester (half year),
after which you will be given the option to re-register
for another semester.

8. Open days: The event is held every semester.
Detailed information will be updated on our school website
and through social media announcements.

9. Payment: You can make the payment using the bank details below

C. After Your Tuition Fee Payment is Made
11. Withdrawal and reimbursement of tuition fees:
After applying and making the payment,
a place is reserved for you. Withdrawal of your registration
is possible from the time of registration up
until the first two weeks after the lessons start.
In such cases, an administration charge (€46)
and any applicable lesson fees (€19/lesson) will be deducted
from the refund. After the first two weeks,
withdrawal is no longer possible under any circumstances,
even if you do not attend the lessons.
12. Illness:
In the case of severe health-related problems
that prevent your further study at the Korean School,
it is possible to withdraw and receive a reimbursement
that is proportional to the number of remaining lessons
in the semester.
A condition is that the student must verify the authenticity
of their health claim by submitting a doctor’s letter
to the school administration.
13. Course level selection:
If you already have some knowledge of Korean,
you may start at a higher level than A1 (Beginners).
In this case, you must pass an online level test.
14. Changing your course level after the semester begins:
Changing your course level is possible within the first two weeks
of the course. if the current level appears unsuitable,
provided there is space in the desired group
and only after consultation with your teacher.
15. Course cancellation by the school:
The Korean School of Amsterdam reserves the right
to cancel courses in the rare case that there are
not enough participants.
We will do our best to provide a suitable alternative
in another group.
If these alternatives are not acceptable,
the total course fee will be reimbursed within 14 days.
16. Maximum capacity and waiting list:
If a course level has too many applicants,
enrollment is first-come, first-served.
If the level reaches maximum capacity,
you will be placed on a waiting list and notified
if a place becomes available before the semester starts.
Prospective students on the waiting list will receive priority
in the registration period for the next semester.
You may withdraw from the waiting list by sending an email to
If you have paid, the total course fee will be
reimbursed within 14 days.

D. Miscellaneous
17. Important announcements and newsletters will be sent
to students by email.
18. All administrative questions should be directed
to the school in writing

19. The Korean School of Amsterdam is unable to assist
with visa arrangements.
